Rev. Olin McBride, Minister Olin W. McBride has a B.S. in Finance from The University of South Carolina (1980). In 1987, Olin received his M.Div. from Columbia Theological Seminary. Olin has served pastorates in Leland, MS; Aiken, SC; Myrtle Beach, SC; and Starkville, MS. Olin is married to Virginia Dunn McBride (better known as "Jim"). They have two children, Emory Virginia McBride Skates and Watson McBride. Emory and her husband, Russell, live in Houston, TX. Russell is an engineer with Chevron. Emory and Russell have one daughter, Emma Watson Skates. Watson lives in Starkville, MS where he is a junior at Mississippi State University. |

Rev. Rachael Knoll, Associate Minister Rachael Knoll has a B.A. from The George Washington University in Washington, D.C. and a M.Div. from Columbia Theological Seminary in Decatur, Georgia. In 2006, Rachael joined the staff of McDonough Presbyterian Church to serve as Associate Pastor. Rachael is married to Eric Knoll who works in municipal finance for BNY Mellon and they have one son, Jack. |

Destiny Williams, Director of Youth Ministry Destiny grew up in Peachtree City, GA with her two younger sisters and a younger brother. As a child, she attended College Park Presbyterian Church and also is a member of South Fayette Presbyterian Church. Destiny is a graduate of Georgia State University with Bachelors Degree in Religious Studies and Philosophy. Destiny worked at the Calvin Center for over eight years in different capacities (Summer Camp Counselor, Unit Coordinator and Program Assistant to Office Manager). Destiny enjoys listening to music, camping, reading, playing board/card games and enjoying movies and concerts.

Jason Montague, Director of Music Jason Montague has been music director at MPC since 2005 and a music teacher at Woodward Academy since 1995. He graduated from Shorter College in 1993 with degrees in Piano Performance and Piano Pedagogy. Prior to working at MPC, he was music director at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Alpharetta, GA (1994 - 2001). He is married to Araminta and have five children.

Julie Garcia, Director of Cherub Choir Julie joined MPC in October of 1999 and has been active in church life ever since. She has been involved in teaching Sunday school and VBS for many years. Julie has been in the chancel choir since 1999. Julie is married to Deric and has two daughters, Haley and Lauren. An Army brat, Julie has lived all over the world. She graduated from the University of Georgia with a bachelor of Arts in Journalism and worked for seven years at Egleston Children's Hospital; and two years at Southern Regional Medical Center as the production manager for PRISM magazine and media relations specialist.

Araminta Montague, Director of Children's Choir Araminta has a Bachelor of Arts (Music major) degree from McMaster University (Hamilton, ON, Canada), a Music Therapy Equivalency degree from Georgia College and State University, and a Master of Education (ECE) from Mercer University (Atlanta). Araminta worked as a Music Therapist at University Hospitals of Cleveland until she accepted a job in Georgia. She began teaching at Woodward Academy in 1997. She began as a Paraprofessional, then taught classroom music and chorus and "retired after teaching three years of Third Grade. Araminta now stays home to raise five children with her husband, Jason. She also teaches private piano lessons from her home. |

Jane Little Robinson, Church Musician Jane was born and raised in Bakersfield, California, growing up in Belle View Baptist Church where she served as pianist/organist for nearly twenty years. It was her desire to be a church musician from a very early age. In 1974, she married Aubrey Robinson and moved to Georgia. Soon after, she became the pianist at Hemphill Memorial Presbyterian Church. They joined MPC in 1977 and Jane became the church organist in 1981. All during elementary through high school years, she was accompanist to many vocal performing groups. For many years, Jane was a member of The American Guild of Organists, Bakersfield and Atlanta chapters. During the past 33 years, Jane taught school, retiring in May of 2007 from education. She now is employed at Cannon Cleveland Funeral Directors, and is also a Tapp (Teacher Alternative Preparation Program) coordinator for those individuals who desire to teach and not presently enrolled in an educational program at a college. |

Wes Shannon, Choir Accompanist Wes has served as MPC Choir Accompanist since 1999. He grew up in New Jersey and graduated from Neptune High School and then went to Jacksonville University in Florida and received a Bachelor of Music Education. At the age of 16 years old, Wes began playing music at his church, St. James Episcopal Church. He accompanied the chorus in high school and had a scholarship at JU to accompany the chorus. During college, he was the Organist for the Navy Chapel at Mayport, Florida and then Organist/Choir Director for the Ponte Vedra Episcopal Church. After graduation, he worked for Carnival Cruise Lines as a musician, bandleader and entertainer. In 1991, Wes decided to change careers and went to John Marshall Law School and received his Doctor of Jurisprudence and presently sits as a Judge in the Henry County Magistrate Court since July 1, 2000. While working for Carnival Cruise Lines, Wes met his wife Pamela on the ships and they have 2 children, Cassie and Jamie. |

Marti Slife, Director of Handbell Choir Marti B. Slife has served as Minister of Music in several churches in the area for more than 40 years. She is a graduate of Agnes Scott College and holds a master's degree in church music from the Candler School of Theology at Emory University. Marti has taught at Clark Atlanta University, LaGrange College and Emory University. She sung with the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra Chorus, the Collegium Musicum at Emory, the Decatur Civic Chorus, Opera Atlanta and is currently a member of Excelsior Community Chorus. She was the director of Clayton Community Chorus, the LaFayette Singers in LaGrange, and the Henry Community Chorus. She is a founder of the Youth Music Camp at Oxford College. Marti and her husband, Bill, live in Stockbridge. They have 3 children and 4 grandchildren. |
