The Go-Go's 

Simply Stated, the Go-Go's is a group of people age 55 and older who like to have a good time. On the third Thursday of each month, we meet at the church, get on the church bus, visit a local attraction, and then eat in a nearby restaurant. On any given trip, we typically have 30 people in attendance and the group will normally include couples, singles, a friend or a relative.

Our 2011-2012 travel schedule is as follows:

August – Museum of Aviation at the Warner Robins Air Force Base

September – Military Museum at Heritage Park in McDonough

October – Zip Line Tour (Location to be determined)

November – Jewish Temple in Atlanta

December – Christmas Concert at North Avenue Presbyterian Church

January – Booth Western Art Museum in Cartersville

February – National Weather Service in Peachtree City

March – Andersonville

April – Baseball Game

May – Georgia Aquarium

June – Planning Session

In addition to the cost of the lunch and the tour, each person pays a $1 "Trip Charge" to help cover the transportation costs.
